Ingredients
- 3/4 C chicken stock
- 1 (6oz) can tomato paste
- 1 TBSP lemon juice
- 4 garlic cloves minced
- 2 TBSP grated ginger
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 2 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 2 tsp garam masala
- 3 LBS 2"cubed boneless skinless chicken breast
- 1/4 C grated yellow onion (one small onion)
- 2 tsp sugar
- 4 TBSP butter cut in 4 pieces
- 1 cup heavy cream
- cooked rice
Instructions
- In a base of slow cooker mix the chicken stock, tomato paste, lemon juice, garlic, ginger, cinnamon, salt, cumin, turmeric and garam masala. Mix until fully combined.
- Add cubed chicken, grated onion sugar and butter. stir to coat all chicken.
- Cover and cook on high for 4 hours.
- Once cooked stir in cream.
- serve over rice with warm flat bread
